about drc

What is DRC?

The Doctoral Research Conference 2022 (DRC 2022) is an interdisciplinary meeting of doctoral students and young scientists who want to share the results of their research or projects.

The topic of this year's event is "Share and inspire: Your Research in a World Changed by the Pandemic". Our conference will provide a unique environment for the exchange of thoughts between researchers from different fields: Media & Social Communications, Philosophy, Social Sciences and Theology.

This year’s event is the continuation of Doctoral Research Conference 2020 (28-29 May 2020), which had to be cancelled last minute due to the beginning of the pandemic. The current conference (DRC 2022) is an updated and slightly modified version of the previous edition. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone engaged in the process of creation of DRC 2020, their hard work made this year’s edition possible. We especially thank all the members of the organizing and scientific committees of DRC 2020.

Idea behind DRC

The aim of DRC 2022 is to share research perspectives in the English language in a way that is understandable and straightforward for a wider audience, bearing in mind that attendants will be researchers from all over Poland and from abroad as well, and from diverse scientific fields.

We are interested in research from all periods, from the past to the present day. The idea is to deepen our understanding of modern man and reality as it is. The purpose of the conference is to provide a friendly space for sharing scientific reflections and research experiences, as well as a great opportunity for developing new interpersonal connections.
